Six Ways to Save Money in the Home Office
Operating a business takes countless hours and a great amount of physical and mental effort, not to mention money. If you are looking for ways to save money in the home office, try some of these ideas on for size and start attacking the leaks in your business budget:
Recycle your paper. Paper with printing on one side can be recycled. Do not toss it – save it. You can create notepads with your used scraps. Cut the 8.5 x 11” paperwork into four even blocks of 4.25 x 5.5” and glue them together. Use the recycled pads for recording telephone messages or other office notes when a full sheet of paper would be too much waste.
Refill ink cartridges. If you have an inkjet printer, buy a kit to refill ink cartridges rather than replace them. It is a simple task if you follow the instructions and can save quite a bit of money if you do much printing.
